Type 01

Anaerobic Thread Sealants

Single-component anaerobic thread sealants that cure in the absence of air when confined between metal pipe threads. Loctite 542 (low viscosity, fine metric threads, 150°C service, PN ≤ 400 bar), Loctite 565 (PTFE-free, tapered pipe threads, NPT and BSP, 150°C), and Loctite 577 (medium viscosity, coarse threads, 150°C) — all conforming to MIL-S-45180 and DIN 30660. Used on hydraulic fittings, pneumatic connectors, instrumentation impulse lines, gas service piping, and process pipework throughout Saudi Arabia oil & gas plants. Gap fill to 0.25 mm (542) up to 0.40 mm (577). Breakloose torque exceeds prevailing torque. Compatible with most metals; activator required for passive substrates.

Type 02

Threadlocking & Retaining Compounds

Anaerobic threadlockers prevent loosening of fasteners under vibration without damage on disassembly. Loctite 243 (medium strength, blue — allows removal with hand tools, 150°C) for general-purpose fasteners and M6–M36 bolts in maintenance environments. Loctite 270 (high strength, green, 150°C) and Loctite 271 (permanent red, 150°C) for fasteners that must not loosen in vibrating machinery. Loctite 638 and 648 retaining compounds bond cylindrical assemblies (shaft-to-hub, bearing-to-housing) with shear strength exceeding 25 MPa — eliminating press fits and keyways on rotating equipment. Critical for pump impellers, fan hubs, and gearbox assemblies in Saudi industrial plants.

Type 03

Gasket Makers & Flange Sealants

Anaerobic flange sealants that cure between mating metal surfaces to form chemical-resistant gaskets. Loctite 510 (high temperature, 200°C service, resistant to petroleum fluids and hydraulic oil) and Loctite 515 (flexible, resistant to water, glycol, and oils, 150°C) for formed-in-place gaskets on pump housings, gearboxes, and flanged pipe joints. Silicone RTV gasket makers (red 300°C, grey 250°C, black 250°C) for exhaust manifolds, engine sumps, and high-temperature applications where anaerobic products are not suitable. Suitable for gap fills up to 1.25 mm (RTV) and 0.25 mm (anaerobic). Widely used for MRO gasketing in Saudi Aramco and SABIC maintenance shutdowns.

Type 04

Structural Epoxy Adhesives

Two-component structural epoxy adhesives for high-strength bonding of metals, composites, and rigid plastics. Araldite 2011 (two-part epoxy-amine, 1:1 mix ratio, tensile shear strength 18 MPa on steel, service temperature -40°C to +120°C) for structural bonding, potting, and repair of metal joints. Araldite 2031 (flexible epoxy, low modulus, superior peel and impact resistance, -55°C to +100°C) for bonding dissimilar materials and dynamic joints subject to vibration. Mix ratio 2:1 by weight. Pot life 40–90 minutes at 23°C. Full cure in 24 hours at ambient; accelerated at 60°C. Used for bracket bonding, metal repair, composite joining, and flange repair in Saudi oil & gas and infrastructure projects.

Type 05

PTFE Tape, Pipe Compounds & Anti-Seize

PTFE thread tape (Teflon tape) in 12mm, 19mm, and 25mm widths — expanded PTFE, 0.075mm thickness, density 0.45–0.60 g/cm³ — for water, gas, and process pipe thread sealing up to 150°C and 70 bar. Rectorseal No. 5 Pipe Thread Compound and Boss White pipe jointing compound for higher-pressure or steam service joints. Anti-seize compounds — copper-based (to 980°C), nickel-based (to 1,200°C), and Never-Seez Pure Nickel Special (MIL-A-907E) — prevent galling and seizure on stainless steel, duplex stainless, and high-temperature alloy fasteners and flange bolts, critical in Saudi process plants operating above 300°C. Never-Seez Regular Grade for general carbon steel bolt maintenance.
