Gulf Union Ozone stocks carbon steel seamless and ERW pipes, butt weld fittings, and flanges for oil & gas, construction, and industrial projects across the Kingdom. API 5L · ASTM A106 Gr.B · ASTM A234 WPB — same-day dispatch from Jeddah with full MTCs.

Carbon steel remains the primary piping material for oil & gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. Gulf Union Ozone maintains stock across all major product forms and grades.
The preferred choice for high-temperature and high-pressure service in process piping. ASTM A106 Grade B is the most widely specified seamless carbon steel pipe on Saudi Aramco projects, covering service temperatures from -29°C to 454°C. API 5L Grade B, X42, X52, X60, X65, and X70 are stocked for pipeline applications.
Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) and High Frequency Welded (HFW) pipes offer a cost-effective solution for lower-pressure utility, structural, and non-critical service applications. Manufactured to API 5L PSL1/PSL2 and ASTM A53 Type E/S, these pipes cover the majority of water, utility, and structural piping requirements on Saudi construction projects.
Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) and Spiral Submerged Arc Welded (SSAW) pipes are specified for large-diameter trunk pipeline projects — transmission lines, water mains, and offshore applications. Available in diameters from 16″ to 60″ to API 5L PSL2, with sour service options to NACE MR0175. These pipes are supplied with full radiographic examination (X-ray) records and mechanical test data.
Carbon steel fittings are stocked in accordance with ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11, and ASME B16.5 dimensional standards. All fittings supplied with Material Test Certificates traceable to the mill heat.
Butt weld fittings connect to pipe ends by welding and are the preferred end connection for process piping in high-pressure and high-temperature applications. Gulf Union Ozone stocks a full range manufactured to ASTM A234 WPB (carbon steel) with dimensional conformance to ASME B16.9.
Socket weld and threaded fittings are used for small-bore piping — typically 2″ NPS and below — where the pipe is inserted into a socket or screwed into a threaded fitting. Material to ASTM A105 (forged carbon steel), dimensional standard ASME B16.11. Class 3000 (for Sch 80 pipe) and Class 6000 (for Sch 160 / XXS pipe) are stocked.
Carbon steel flanges to ASTM A105 (forged) and ASME B16.5 are stocked in weld neck, blind, slip-on, socket weld, and threaded types from Class 150 to 2500. Full details on flange types, pressure classes, and facing options are available on our dedicated flanges page.
ASTM A106 Grade B seamless pipe is rated for service from -29°C to 454°C (-20°F to 850°F), making it the standard specification for process piping in refineries, gas plants, and petrochemical facilities in Saudi Arabia. For elevated temperature above 454°C, alloy steel (P11, P22) is specified instead.
Pipelines and plant equipment handling wet hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) service must comply with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 to prevent sulfide stress cracking (SSC). Carbon steel pipes for sour service are subject to hardness limits (maximum HRC 22) and chemistry restrictions. API 5L PSL2 sour service pipe is a common requirement on Aramco upstream projects — Gulf Union Ozone stocks to this specification.
Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) is mandatory for certain piping classes under ASME B31.3. Carbon steel pipe over specific wall thickness thresholds requires stress relief after welding. Gulf Union Ozone's technical team can advise on PWHT requirements for your piping class specification.
| Product | Standard | Temp Range |
|---|---|---|
| Seamless Pipe | ASTM A106 Gr.B | -29°C to 454°C |
| Pipeline Pipe | API 5L PSL2 | Per grade |
| BW Fittings | ASTM A234 WPB | -29°C to 454°C |
| SW/Threaded Fittings | ASTM A105 | -29°C to 538°C |

Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedure SAEP-347 governs the purchase of materials from stockist suppliers for use on Saudi Aramco projects. Annex 4 of SAEP-347 lists the Stockable 9COMS — material numbers that may be sourced from approved stockists rather than direct from the original manufacturer.
Many of the 59 SAEP-347 Annex 4 material numbers that Gulf Union Ozone covers specify carbon steel grades — including ASTM A106 Grade B seamless pipe (Material No. 6000000052 in SAEP-347), ASTM A234 WPB butt weld fittings, ASTM A105 flanges and fittings, and API 5L pipeline pipe.
All carbon steel products supplied for SAEP-347 applications come with the complete documentation package: Material Test Certificates (MTCs) showing chemical composition and mechanical properties, Certificates of Conformance, and original mill certificates with heat and lot number traceability.
In-stock carbon steel pipes and fittings ordered before noon are dispatched the same day from our Jeddah warehouse. Emergency orders for plant shutdowns are handled immediately — we understand that production downtime is costly.
Every carbon steel pipe and fitting comes with Material Test Certificates (MTCs) showing the full chemical composition and mechanical test results traceable to the original mill heat. This documentation is mandatory for Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and SEC project procurement.
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification covers the full procurement and supply process — from supplier qualification and incoming inspection through storage, marking, documentation, and dispatch. This ensures consistent quality and traceability for every carbon steel order.
Planned shutdowns and emergency breakdowns both demand rapid response. Our Jeddah location and maintained safety stock across the most critical carbon steel sizes mean we can respond to urgent calls — including after-hours emergencies via WhatsApp.
From our Jeddah headquarters we deliver to all 18 administrative regions of Saudi Arabia. Industrial hubs served include Jubail, Dammam, Khobar, Ras Tanura (Eastern Province), Yanbu, Rabigh (Western Province), and Riyadh. Expedited freight for remote sites is arranged upon request.
Gulf Union Ozone Trading Co. is a Saudi-registered LLC (CR 4030570569, VAT 311592828300003) with full GOSI and HRSD Saudization registration. All procurement compliance requirements for Saudi government and semi-government projects are met, including IKTVA reporting.
