Gulf Union Ozone supplies complete solar thermal systems for Saudi industrial facilities, government buildings, medical cities, and construction camps across the Kingdom. Our portfolio covers parabolic-trough concentrating collectors (single-axis tracking, 100–400°C process heat, for CSP pilot projects and industrial drying and steam applications), evacuated-tube collectors (all-glass and heat-pipe ETC, 60–200°C, vacuum envelope eliminating convective loss even at 46°C Saudi ambient) and flat-plate collectors (selective-coat aluminium-frame panels, 40–80°C, cost-effective for camp and building water heating). Solar circuit heat exchangers — stainless 316L brazed plate and shell-and-tube — isolate potable water from glycol circuits and are designed for Saudi hard-water conditions. Pressurised and atmospheric thermal storage tanks from 100 L to 10 000 L in SS 316L with polyurethane insulation suit Saudi 50°C ambient. Single-axis and dual-axis tracking systems for concentrating collectors are programmed for Saudi latitude and longitude to maximise annual energy yield. Propylene glycol solar fluid with inhibitor package for all system sizes. Annual solar yield calculations using KACST TMY solar radiation data. SASO solar certification, ISO 9001:2015 (CR 4030570569).

Gulf Union Ozone carries six solar thermal product families for Saudi industrial process heat, building water heating, and concentrating solar applications — with ISO 9806 and SASO performance certification and full system design support using KACST solar radiation data.
Concentrating linear-focus parabolic-trough collectors tracking the sun on a single axis; generate process heat at 100–400°C for Saudi industrial applications including absorption cooling, evaporation, pasteurisation and CSP pilot projects. Aperture widths 1 m, 1.5 m and 2 m; receiver tube (HCE) with selective coating and glass vacuum envelope; thermal efficiency 65–72% at design point. Evacuated-tube collectors (ETC) are most efficient in Saudi conditions because the vacuum envelope eliminates convective heat loss, maintaining collector efficiency even at 46°C ambient and 200°C stagnation temperature. Flat-plate collectors are suitable for lower-temperature duties (water heating below 70°C) at lower capital cost, but efficiency drops significantly above 40°C ambient. Parabolic-trough concentrators are used for industrial process heat above 150°C. Gulf Union Ozone sizes each system using KACST solar radiation data and ISO 9806 collector performance curves.
Saudi dust accumulation reduces ETC and flat-plate output by 0.5–1.5% per day without cleaning. Gulf Union Ozone recommends automated or semi-automated dry-brush cleaning robots for large collector arrays, or a weekly manual water-rinse using demineralised water to prevent scale deposits. Parabolic-trough mirrors require more frequent cleaning; robotic cleaning vehicles are available for CSP-scale arrays. Soiling loss is factored into our energy yield calculations with site-specific PM10 data.
In most Saudi locations (Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh), minimum night temperatures remain above 5°C, so 25% propylene glycol in the solar circuit provides adequate freeze protection to −10°C. In Abha, Taif and higher-altitude locations where temperatures can reach −3°C, 35% glycol is recommended (freeze protection to −18°C). Gulf Union Ozone supplies food-grade propylene glycol solar concentrate with inhibitor package; MSDS and compatibility data provided for Saudi Aramco MSDS system.
To get a fast quotation, provide: application (water heating / process heat / absorption cooling / CSP pilot), collector type preferred (flat-plate / ETC / parabolic-trough), daily hot-water demand (m³/day) or process heat duty (kW), required temperature (°C), site location in Saudi Arabia, available roof or field area (m²), and connection to existing diesel or gas water heater (yes/no).
