Type 01

Synthetic Thermal Oils

High-performance synthetic diphenyl oxide/biphenyl (Dowtherm A/Therminol VP-1 equivalent) and polyalphaolefin (PAO) thermal oils for temperatures up to 400°C; used in Saudi refinery heat-medium systems. Synthetic thermal oils offer a wide liquid-phase operating range without the pressurised steam systems required for equivalent temperature service, making them the preferred choice for Saudi Arabia refinery process heaters, wax-heating systems, bitumen terminals, and petrochemical reactor jacket heating. Mineral-Based Thermal Oils

Hydrotreated mineral oil heat-transfer fluids for service up to 300°C (bulk) / 320°C (film); cost-effective for Saudi industrial heating applications where synthetic performance is not required. Mineral thermal oils are the standard choice for Saudi industrial process heaters operating below 300°C — including asphalt heating, food processing ovens, textile finishing, and plastics processing. Propylene Glycol Solutions

USP/food-grade propylene glycol water solutions (20–50%) for freeze protection and process cooling to −35°C; FDA-compliant for Saudi food, beverage and pharmaceutical plant secondary cooling loops. Propylene glycol (PG) is the safe choice for Saudi food and pharmaceutical cooling applications where incidental product contact is possible — USP grade, SFDA generally recognised as safe (GRAS), and FDA-listed. Gulf Union Ozone supplies inhibited PG solutions with aluminium, copper, and steel corrosion inhibitors pre-blended to the specified concentration. Ethylene Glycol Solutions

Ethylene glycol (EG) is the standard heat transfer fluid for Saudi HVAC chiller circuits, district cooling plants, and industrial process cooling where food contact is not a consideration. Type 05

Cooling Tower Fluids

Corrosion-inhibited water treatment chemicals and cooling-circuit top-up water for Saudi open and closed cooling towers; includes scale inhibitor, biocide and pH-adjustment chemical packages. Saudi Arabia's high-ambient-temperature and hard-water conditions make cooling tower water treatment critical to prevent scale, corrosion, and biological fouling. Gulf Union Ozone supplies chromate-free scale and corrosion inhibitors (molybdate-based and phosphonate-based), oxidising and non-oxidising biocides, pH-adjustment acids and alkalis, and blowdown dispersants.
