Self-exciting brushless synchronous alternators conforming to IEC 60034-1 and BS 5000 Part 3, featuring Class H insulation (180°C thermal limit), IP23 or IP44 enclosure, and solid-state automatic voltage regulator (AVR). Output voltage: 380V, 400V, 415V, or 440V three-phase at 50 Hz. Voltage regulation ±1.0% steady state (no load to full load), ±3% transient. Power range 7.5 kVA to 3,000 kVA single-bearing or double-bearing configurations. Silicon-steel rotor laminations, copper field winding, anti-condensation heater terminals as standard. Turnkey diesel generator sets (gensets) to ISO 8528-1 combining Cummins, Perkins, and Volvo Penta engines with Stamford or Leroy-Somer alternator heads, mounted on a common steel base frame with anti-vibration mounts, day-tank, and automatic mains-failure (AMF) control panel. Permanent magnet generators (PMG) using rare-earth NdFeB or ferrite magnets for wind turbine excitation systems, small hydro, and auxiliary excitation on large synchronous generators. Axial-flux and radial-flux topologies. Output: 100–5,000 W at low shaft speeds (150–900 rpm), eliminating the need for gearboxes in direct-drive wind systems. High efficiency (>90%) across partial-load range. Also supplied as sub-exciter PMG bolted to the non-drive end of large Stamford HCI/HC series brushless alternators, providing independent excitation bus for enhanced performance under non-linear loads and fault conditions.
Automatic voltage regulators (AVR) for brushless alternator field control: Stamford SX460, SX440, AS440, MX321, MX341, and MX450 models; Leroy-Somer D350, D700 series; and Mecc Alte DSR, DSE controllers — stocked for immediate supply. Also available: rotor and stator rewinding services, rectifier diode sets (avalanche-type, 400V to 600V PIV), varistor surge suppressor kits, anti-condensation heaters (110V/220V, 50W–200W), shaft earthing rings, IP upgrade canopy kits, and bearing replacement kits. Industrial alternators — synchronous AC generators — are the standard power source for standby, mobile, and distributed generation across Saudi Aramco facilities, construction sites, and remote industrial plants. Key Saudi Arabia specifications: output voltage 380V or 415V three-phase at 50 Hz, power factor 0.8 lagging, IP21 drip-proof for indoor use or IP44/IP54 for outdoor dusty environments, insulation Class H rated to 180°C maximum winding temperature. Excitation types stocked include brushless self-excited with rotating rectifier for minimum maintenance; permanent magnet pilot exciter (PMG) for immunity to voltage dips from motor starting loads; and auxiliary winding excitation for low-cost applications. Standards: IEC 60034 for rotating machines, BS 5000-3 for alternators, ISO 8528 for generator set assembly; Saudi Aramco specifies SAES-P-101 for electrical equipment. Frame sizes IEC 225 through IEC 560 covering 50 to 1000 kVA from stock. Load sizing must account for motor starting kVA at minimum three times rated kW, VFD harmonics, and altitude de-rating. Gulf Union Ozone alternator supply delivers to all Saudi industrial regions from the Jeddah warehouse: standard single-phase and three-phase alternators in 5 kVA to 2,500 kVA from bonded stock, 48–72 hours to Jubail and Dammam, 72–96 hours to Riyadh. Large high-voltage alternators (6.6 kV, 11 kV) for combined-heat-and-power plants at SABIC Yanbu and SWCC desalination stations are sourced with 8–14 weeks lead time from approved manufacturers. All alternators are supplied with: factory test certificate per IEC 60034-1 (no-load run, heat run, waveform distortion); efficiency certificate per IEC 60034-1; insulation resistance test record; and winding diagram. Excitation system documentation, AVR setting record, and vibration analysis report are included for Saudi Aramco rotating equipment commissioning handover. Spare AVR modules and brushless exciter diode sets are stocked for common alternator models.
