Stainless-steel fast-loop sample conditioning panels that cool, filter and pressure-control process stream samples before delivery to online analysers; used on Saudi Aramco and SABIC process units. Fast-loop velocity maintained at 1–3 m/s to minimise sample transport lag; coalescing filters, sample coolers and pressure regulators integrated; ATEX Zone 2 electrical components available for installation on Saudi hazardous process units.

What laboratory instruments are required for Saudi Aramco water injection quality monitoring?

Saudi Aramco SAES-A-007 requires monitoring of produced and injection water for oil-in-water (Turner online or HACH DR3900 colorimetric), suspended solids (Millipore filtration), dissolved oxygen (DO analyser), total dissolved solids (conductivity bridge), pH, and iron (colorimetric or ICP-OES). For offshore injection, barium, sulphate and strontium are also monitored to prevent scale incompatibility. How do Karl-Fischer titrators measure water content in refinery samples?

Karl-Fischer titration is a selective electrochemical method that reacts water with iodine in the presence of sulphur dioxide and a base. Coulometric KF titrators (for low-water-content samples, <1000 ppm) generate iodine electrolytically and measure the charge required; volumetric KF titrators (for higher water content, >0.1%) deliver KF reagent from a burette and calculate water from the volume consumed. Gulf Union Ozone supplies both types with automated burette, magnetic stirrer and GLP printer for refinery jet-fuel, lube oil and crude-oil QC applications.

Yes. Detectors used are TCD (thermal conductivity) for permanent gases (N₂, CO₂, H₂) and FID (flame ionisation) for hydrocarbons.
