How does a push-in pneumatic fitting work?
Push-in fittings use a collet with inward-angled teeth inside the fitting body. When you push the tube in, the collet grips the tube tightly and air pressure pushes the collet inward to increase grip. To release, push the outer collar toward the body to retract the collet teeth and pull out the tube.
