Ring-type joint (RTJ) flanges are specified for high-pressure and high-temperature piping above Class 900 at Jubail's hydrocracker, catalytic reformer, and high-pressure gas compression units. Gulf Union Ozone stocks RTJ weld-neck flanges in ASTM A105 and ASTM A182 F316 for Class 900, 1500, and 2500 service. Ring grooves are machined to API 6A tolerances for compatibility with both octagonal and oval ring gaskets.
