Applicable Standards & Technical Specifications
API 1529 — Petroleum Hoses
All petroleum delivery hoses comply with API 1529 Grade I (suction/discharge, petrol & diesel) and Grade II (high-pressure bulk transfer). Rated for full aromatic fuel compatibility.
API 12F — Storage Tanks
Tank accessories including manhole covers, vents and OPVs are dimensioned and tested to API 12F for shop-welded, above-ground atmospheric storage tanks commonly used across Saudi Arabia.
ATEX Zone Ratings — Pumps
Submersible pumps carry ATEX Zone 0 certification. Rotary vane and gear pumps are rated Zone 1/Zone 2. All motor windings use PTFE or Class F insulation for fuel vapour environments.
Flow Accuracy ±0.5%
Oval gear and turbine flow meters meet OIML R117 ±0.5% accuracy. Positive displacement custody transfer meters achieve ±0.25%. All meters support NTEP-equivalent legal-for-trade use in KSA.
Pressure Ratings
Transfer pump working pressure up to 7 bar (gear) and 10 bar (centrifugal). Hose assemblies rated to 20 bar burst for Grade I; 35 bar burst for Grade II. Valves and fittings rated PN10–PN16.
Electrical Safety
AC-powered equipment supplied with IP44–IP65 protection. DC pumps include thermal overload protection. Solenoid valves carry IP65 coil protection for outdoor installation in harsh Saudi climate conditions.
